Shipping & Returns

Shipping

VivaGranola ships orders from it’s location in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Unless otherwise noted, all packages are shipped via Canada Post.

We do all that we can to reduce the shipping and handling charges as well as reducing our ecological footprint by reusing packing materials such as boxes and packing “nuggets” . However, depending on the items ordered, we may opt to use Canada Post envelopes/boxes or other if it is in the customers’ best interest or in the event that there is no other option available to us.

The cost of shipping is automatically calculated by Canada Post based on the weight of the items in your order. If you are unsure about the amount being charged, send us an email and we will be happy to verify it for you.

Your order will be prepared and shipped in 24 to 48 hours. To ensure that your order is shipped as promptly as possible, please ensure that the items you choose are in stock on the day of the order. In the event that you choose an item that we expect shortly, your order will be placed on hold and will be shipped once the item is in stock.

We would ask that you do not refuse your parcel once it is delivered. Shipping costs will be charged to all customers who refuse a package.

Returns

Because we want our clients to be satisfied with their purchases, VivaGranola tries its best to provide you with detailed descriptions of the products to help you make an enlightened decision as well as provide you with the manufacturer’s website when possible. We also assure you that all products are in perfect condition at the time of shipping.

Because of their nature, we are unable to accept returns of the following items :
food, DVDs, personal or hygiene products (such as cosmetics, soaps, etc.) as well as all opened or used items. All returned items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Returns, reimbursements or exchanges are not possible on refrigerated items that have spoiled during transport and for which you have accepted the risks involved in shipping such items at the time your order was placed: As stated on the item description page and on our FAQ page, if you have chosen to have a refrigerated product shipped to you, you have accepted the responsibility in the event that the item(s) arrive(s) in spoiled condition and we regret that it is impossible for us at this time to be held responsible for the perishable nature of said product(s).

In the event you wish to return a product, we request that you communicate with us via e-mail before returning the item in question. We will provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number to include on the electronic copy of your invoice.

All returns must be accompanied by the invoice as well as the RMA number that we provided upon your advising us of your intention to return an item. We regret that a return that does not have an RMA number will not be processed. By providing you with the authorization number, we are able to confirm that the item may be returned saving you unnecessary shipping charges and we can be sure that we are available to receive it.

No refunds will be made on shipping charges. Customers assume the cost associated with any return except in the case that VivaGranola has made a mistake in filling your order with an incorrect article. In such a case, we will reimburse you for reasonable shipping costs incurred at the time of the return.

We will be pleased to offer you a refund within 10 days of shipment or an exchange within 30 days of shipment for all returns that meet the conditions explained above.
